Today, I want to bring up the importance of sharing your business publicly.  Now when I say publicly, I mean speaking to the masses!  Yes.  Your small business, organization, product, Honorable achievement in your career- CAN be shared through the media. Simply sharing your products with the lady at church ain’t gonna cut it -no offense church lady 0:)  But this takes “big & bold” thinking…enough with the small goals and limited desires 😉 Remember…

Media is defined as:

the main means of mass communication (especially television, radio, newspapers, and the Internet) regarded collectively.

Every business needs a story.  This goes beyond your mission statement and services. Who are you? Where are you from? Your story needs to scream exciting & interesting. I believe business owners should create “bangin’ brands”, but also create rich and meaningful stories about their journey to share with the world.

That got me thinking…”why don’t small businesses take advantage of the media as much as they can?”  This idea evolved into a new program I am excited to announce…called “Present Your Brand“.  In this program, I teach new, stuck, and re-starting entrepreneurs to PRESENT THEIR BRANDS in easy, strategic, and profitable ways.  It’s gonna be down-to-earth, exciting, and filled with resources to launch you right into the media where you’ll have the opportunity to “PRESENT YOUR BRAND” WORLDWIDE!  Currently, the program is available LIVE to the Chicagoland area on Saturday, December 13, 2014.  More details for this dope training will be shared in less than a week (YEAH!!! Stacia is my girl because she’s talented, business-minded, and also builds the community.  If you’re a entrepreneur, leader, etc and want to make a presence in the media. She IS the lady to see (kind of like Chicago’s “Olivia Pope”).

She is also dear to me because her company helped my Performing Arts Company, Bahiyah Productions with our first break into the media.
